Who Sent You?

Nancy Pelosi said that the Tea Party is not grassroots – that rather it is “astroturf”.  The DemocraticUnderground.com said it is “exquisitely funded Republican political theatre”.   The Huffington Post called it a “corporate-funded campaign to trick people into supporting more cut taxes (sic) for the rich”.  We’ve been called racists and rednecks.  But, as you’ll see in this video, the Tea Party arose spontaneously among everyday Americans in response to a government that is out-of-control.  This footage was filmed right here in the Cincinnati area on Tax Day in 2009 at the early beginnings of the Tea Party movement.   You might even recognize one of your neighbors.
